Winter is coming

Its been a few weeks since I sat down and wrote anything on here, life has been busy and I haven't felt the urge to write anything or be extremely social.  Definitely have not been all there, lots of things on my mind.  Things seem to be looking up though heading into my favorite yet most tough time of the year.  Its always a struggle heading into fall during the October and November months.  I am constantly reminded of friends of past that are no longer here with us and all I want to do is be outside and enjoy the cooler weather but am constantly lost in my own head.  

The good news is I got some great friends that sometimes force me to get out and do things, not always things I want to do but in the end I usually am glad I did it over sitting at home in my own big head.  Today its a hockey day and I do want to do that i just wish I wasn't in such a awful slump right now.  Though playing hockey with good friends even if I am playing bad lately is still better than not playing at all.  

More good news is the greatest American hockey franchise is off to a good start with 2 wins which is nice after missing the playoffs for the first time in 25 years last season.  The lions are looking good 3-1 as I type this watching them play the Carolina Panthers.  Hopefully they are 4-1 after today, I need a win after a tough loss to the Michigan state yesterday for the Wolverines.  

But in the end if you surround yourself with people that make you laugh and smile it will be OK.  Don't worry about what other people think, most of the time they don't even realize its the negativity they bring is the reason you are immune to their bullshit.
