Day 4 | Frozen Paleo challenge
Day 4
Today feels like a good day I woke up feeling pretty good (this may also be the coffee talking at this point) had a good breakfast and spent some time with the pooch. I am excited about the day and to see how my body responds to a hockey game tonight with this diet going for a few days now. I just hope I have the energy reserves to play like I want to. I brought a couple of the caveman bars and a Lara bar with me today so I can snack on one before the game and get some extra juice.
Lunch was the first repeat of the meals I had the beef chili with sweet potatoes again. After trying the others I am more pleased with this one than before. It actually has some flavor and is edible! still not great but I could eat it in a pinch. I may have gone softer also because it was spicy today and I am far from upset about that just wasn't mentally prepared for it.
Had a great end of the day feeling great mentally already and having energy to stay up but not sure if it was the diet or me, but I did not play a great game. My legs just felt tired and lethargic throughout the hockey game which if you know is ideal. My goal is 2,250 calories and after the game I had a rough deficit of 964 calories. Intake was about 1,801 via myfitnesspal. Its a great app to keep track of your food and macros if you haven't checked it out I highly recommend it if you wish to track food.
Thanks for the read if you have any questions or advice I would love to hear it!
